All Things Printrbot Being Updated

I have started to go through the very popular page, ” All Things Printrbot – All in One Place.” I have started to re-organize the page as well as check all the links to make sure that there is no dead links. I will also be adding content for the updated Printrbot line-up. Check out the page and if you know of a site or link that you feel should be on the page; let me know via email or comments.

About RepRap Squad

I have been involved with 3D printing for years and I wouldn't have it any other way. I also started a foundation called, "Printing a Future Foundation." The sole purpose of this foundation is to get as many 3D printers as we can into schools via donations. Being an Industry trends adviser within the additive manufacturing community allows me to be immersed in the things I enjoy most.

    Hi,

What do you think of the idea of a high school buying Printrbot Simple Maker’s Kit?
    The kit with the wood.
Then using the assembled Printrbot, to make plastic parts to replace the wood and to enlarge the print bed. They also have Makerbots and three Simple Metal printers.

    • The wood simple has had a lot of people design modifications for it. Everything from extending the bed to accessories. It’s a neat platform to use and has a lot of options. It would be neat to use it as an opportunity to teach the kids design and engineering. The metal simple is awesome but the wood one is a lot easier to modify. It sounds like a neat idea to me.
